Career Resources, Information and News

Bio

I joined the ESSDACK team in August 2006 as the Career Development Coordinator for the Learning Centers. My primary focus was bridging the gap for the high school diploma seeking students from the classroom to the workforce. I managed a pilot site for the Kansas Career Pipeline in the Learning Centers in the Spring of 2007. I currently serve as the Administrator of Carl Perkins vocational funding and continue to provide resources for students with regard to career education. I present workshops to school administrators, counselors and teachers on the mechanics of the Kansas Career Pipeline (www.kansascareerpipeline.org).

I graduated from Kansas State University with a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Central Christian College with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2007, I completed the training for the Global Career Development Coordinator designation. Prior to coming to ESSDACK, I spent many years in the business community.
